establishing her own business, Margie
had demonstrated success directing

such as Mercy Hospital, Shadyside
Hospital, and St. Francis Medical
Center – all in the Pittsburgh
area. At the same time, she was a
key contributor to professional organizations
such as the Association for Hospital
Medical Education (AHME), the Alliance
for Continuing Medical Education (ACME),
and was the Founder of the Council
of Administrative Directors of Medical
Education (CADME).
Her broad perspective
coupled with practical experience
have enabled her to become a medical
education consultant who, for over
a decade, has provided expert advice
and practical solutions to GME professionals
in major academic medical centers
and community hospitals throughout
the United States. Margie is a national
speaker on medical education accreditation
issues, and provides teleconferences
and regional seminars through Partners
in Medical Education, Inc.
In addition to operating
a highly respected business, Margie
has been the Executive Director for
AHME for the past 6 years, and has
collaborated with the Association
of Osteopathic Directors and Medical
Educators (AODME) on joint educational
conferences for medical education
professionals. Margie Kleppick has
worked with numerous programs and
institutions to enable them to achieve
full accreditation and the highest
quality educational programs. Those

Catherine
Henderson, Dr.PH, LLC

Dr. Catherine
(Kay) Henderson received her Bachelor
of Science degree in Nursing, and
began her career path as a nursing
administrator and educator. After
serving as Assistant Director of Grants
and Legislation for the New York City
municipal hospital system, she returned
to Columbia University (NYC) and earned
her Masters and Doctorate in Public
Health. Kay has over 20 years hospital
administration experience in positions
of increasing responsibility in St.
Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center
(NYC), and Raritan Bay Medical Center
(NJ).
As Associate Vice
President, and later Vice President,
of Medical Administration, she was
responsible for undergraduate and
graduate medical education, continuing
medical education, medical staff services,
faculty practice development, strategic
planning, JCAHO compliance, and served
as primary staff to the Chief Medical
Officer of two major institutions.
